Stoked on this bottle right now. Under $20, terroir driven, and well made. Not the epitome of CF but not a bottle of shrill either. Smoke, cigar ash, turned earth, cedar, wet leaves coupled with dried black raspberries and cherry. Loads of black pepper and rocky minerality too. The freshness is what surprised me, this is alive and well and showing great.

Dec 2nd, 2017This is the old vine cuvée. It was time to come back down to earth, and this simple, one-note Cab Franc did the trick. It had the olive & herb aromas and flavors and plenty of refreshing acid.
