A youthful 2010. Plenty of black olives, cured meats, lots of dark fruit are carried by gritty tannins. This is an excellent village designate Rhône from a terrific vintage and is built to last. I look forward to trying this wine in 3-4 years.

It is the very model of a modern CdR.... in a good way. Showing some modern winemaking and oak, but restrained and excellent Syrah, clearly French, clearly Rhône. On the nose, black pepper and blueberries. In the mouth, pepper, blueberries and a touch of integrated oak. Nice fruit, nice acid. Medium-long finish. Yum

The color here is all blue. Mix of blueberries and cranberries. Syrah typical palate with a little fatter mid, and very peppery finish.

Among the best cote de rhone made . I believe it pure syrah .(Le cros).
