A house favorite, Mourvèdre provides plenty of tannin, black cherry, garigue, well integrated, powerful but balanced, hints of 4-EP Brett on palate but acceptable because the wine is so good

Stinky nose that blew off in a short time revealing depth and broad, dark flavors. Great with our ribeye.

Squid ink. Surprising salinity and a tiny bit of brett, but just enough to give it that medicinal glycerol quality. A huge contrast from the Burgundies earlier tonight. Sagey garrigue. Confected undertone is out of place on this palate, but not surprising given the age, but good with food.

Great, solid wine. Lots of berry, velvet tannins, dry and huge. Love it!
