Mâcon-Verzé Chardonnay

Morning after delectable. One of my favorite wines ever. It's like the best apple tart you've ever had in a glass. #housepalate

Elegant, and really balanced. Not terribly mineral, not high acid, not super ripe, no noticeable oak. Just harmonious.

A big step down from the '12 in terms of complexity & concentration. More like what you would expect from a Macon.

Pairs with shrimps

Corked.

Fruity light having with hamachi crudo octopus and sous vide ribeye. Nice bright summer beverage pear citrus lemon

While balanced and integrated, this never moved beyond quite neutral for me.

Worth it, Concise and lively fruit basket.
