Lovely gentle lemon with seashells on the nose. There’s a real warmth to this in the core- lovely honeyed fruit with good tension and a long, long finish. A lovely wine.... 30 mins later, this has expanded and is really open and lush. Wow

2000 - way fresher after 30 min
A bit fat on the attack then the knight came back

Incredible. As usual, this has roundness AND beautiful minerality, showing both the best aspects of the upper and lower portions of the vineyard. Out of magnum.

Consistent with the vintage. Ripe fruit trending towards tropical. Good focus and the classic Leflaive nose with a kids of sulfur still.

Something a tiny bit off, couldn't figure out what it was but not pristine.

Shockingly mineral driven and focused, probably the best bottle I have of this vintage, super high acid for 2000

Round, rich & complex with fresh crisp flavors of pear, peach, lemon curd & mineral core. I can’t see this improving as it is perfect now.
