Basic crunchy carignan-heavy languedoc, put together carefully, and well. Great concentration for a wine with an overall light affect.

A beautiful pallet of plums and pepper follows a nose of violets in this exemplar of a carignane blended wine. This wine paired superbly with prime rib and mashed potatoes; so much so that I can't think of a better pairing. Excellent!
