Heavy, rich tannery, leather, cigar smoke, hot cinnamon. Plums.
Woah, reminds me why I love this region. Not the most rounded Vacqueyras I’ve had, but definitely got the smokey, rich, spicy, full body notes I love, paired with an incredibly silky mouthfeel.
Intense fruits of blackberry, raspberry, plums. Moderate to high acidity works well here with the intense jams.

Opened a 2017 that we bought in June 2018 at the winery. Enjoying with salami and fog jam, olives and a nice cheese. Nice and semi sweet-refreshing in an early summer evening at Shakespeare in the Park.
