Took time to coax it open in the glass. Great structure with a strong core of black and red fruit. Could probably use a couple more years in the cellar for it to soften up a bit more.

anyone asks me about the burgandy nose, gonna point them here. mouthfeel a bit on the meaty side and kept tannin inline. good bottle to wean the CCCC (callie cult cab crew) off their unholy fascination... or not, as who wants more competition for burgs;-)

Take 30mins to decant and let it open. This bottle was from the winery and we had it labeled and capped in front of us. All fruit but still a bit tense. Will revisit my other bottle in 5+ yrs.
