2023/6. Among the recent Larue Saint Aubins we’ve had, this was the creamiest and spiciest. It had the richest fruit and probably also the most oak (though not much in the absolute). I think it’s a good balance.

Just at the edge of too much oxidation. Nice golden color but got that hints of sherry nose and notes of oxidation on palate. However went quite well with the garlic and spicy shrimp by Leila! Waited too long and got bit of preox.

100 Wines Kermit tasting - another contender for wine of the tasting. Like oh my, the nose was dreamy. Sit back in a bean bag and sniff, again and again.

Poured out of magnum. Holy wow is this good. Bright spice and oak melded with fruity floral aromatics to the max, with a chalky intensity emitted at the end. Clean and structured on the palate, with a generous fruity and spice laden finish with oak, chalkiness, and a buttery backbone that makes this a pretty complete white Burgundy experience. Might age well, but is there any need when it tastes this good?
