Domaine Lafage
Tessellae Old Vines Côtes du Roussillon Grenache Blend
Big and bold, full of powerful cherry and a bit of licorice. Well worth the value.

Aug 5th, 2018Smells of dried flowers, pressed between the pages of a new, pulp fiction.
The wine is a bit thin, a red broth of dark berry, seeds and stems.
Although still enjoyable, not the Rhône I was expecting. This one has some heat!

This was a fair wine when paired with food. I would say it is a good sipping wine. Good fruit but more of a savory wine with a smooth finish.

Apr 22nd, 2017This has the flavor profile and long complex herby finish that I love in an excellent inexpensive Roussillon. Almost seems too good for a Tuesday night, but at $13, why not?

Dec 14th, 2016A little hot. I'd like to try this again after another year or two.

Nov 20th, 2016I don't understand why Robert Parker rated this wine 94 points. For such a wine that was only aged in concrete tank before. Not my taste of red wine.
