Back story... working in home cellar yesterday... found 6 bottles of this I had forgotten about..paid $12 a bottle about 5 years ago. Thought oh well, try one and toss. Wow! Was I wrong! Color.. still very light lemon yellow. Wonderful floral notes on nose. As the wine warms, it’s round and weighty... still acid driven but round and almost oily. Ripe juicy pear, red apple, and straw. Had the wine with really good veal piccata and buttered, cheesy fettuccine. I need to seek out more of this wine... I remember the reds were very good... but the Grenache Blanc is out-of-bounds. What a steal! Buy this shit in bulk!
