Years did this justice. Moulin-A-Vent can be a bit of a beast in it's youth, this has settled out into a lovely savory Bojo, kinda shroomy, smoked meat, cherries. 13%. Good.

A really enjoyable wine. The Cru Beaujolais wines remain underrated in my view, often offering good value, food friendly wine. Nice dark fruit and spice in this one and even the combination of Vieilles Vignes and 2015 vintage didn’t make it too heavy or dull.

Domaine Labruyere 2014 Coeur de Terroirs Moulin-à-Vent: Here’s an appealing Cru Beaujolais from Moulin-à-Vent appellation. The (inviting) aromas and flavors include pretty red berries, juicy plum, and violets. In the mouth, its rich yet streamlined—with ripe fruit notes propped up by a firm spine of acidity. There’s good depth & concentration, too; this wine is a pleasure to sip. $SRP $16
