Nose is high toned with red and black cherry. Very pitty. Ripe but also a serious granite underlining. Very refined for 15. Good berry fruit almost cassis as well. It’s very clean and pure. Palate is complex, deep and juicy with really terrific tannins and mouthfeel. It’s tannins are so special and sweeten out on the finish. Long. Exceptional balance and purity. Love how this is like Bordeaux meets Gamay. A bit hot. I can any other vintage this being not hot and I’d have a higher score. It’s all there except the heat.
