Purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Nose of black fruits with chocolate notes.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing plums, currants, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth and tobacco.

Nice finish with soft tannins and cherries.

This Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already complex and interesting.

Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and easy drinking. A great sipping wine. Engaging and good by itself or with food.

A blend of 90% Grenache, 8% Syrah and 2% Mourvèdre from old vines.

15% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$40.

This was bursting with delicious, mouth filling Grenache fruit. This has 2016 written all over it which reminds me a lot of 2010 to be honest. Brambles and brambles and brambles with a touch of spice. So easy to like and massively crushable. Perhaps just a touch too simple for my taste but gosh...there’s a lot to like.

Singing the alcoholic capabilities of Grenache. Some jammy, earthy (fallen/bruised/rotting) fruit character. Delicious and airing new world.

Delicious CDP. Lush, different, not as earthy, spice as some, but great.
