Was afraid to decant well before drinking due to age, but this was still youthful, fresh, and tight upon opening. It continued to open in the glass, but needed more air-time. Still, very enjoyable.

Spicey wine a la Châteauneuf du Pape style. Syrah, Mouverdre & Grenache blend. Dusty notes but also keeping the freshness/juicyness. Although a solid wine, I don't see the 94RP and 95 Jeb Dunnik ratings but maybe this just needs some more years of cellaring..

Some cherry, wild raspberry, blackberry. Hint of tartness. Medium tannins. Good strong finish that lingers. Very good without food, but should be excellent with food.
