Small producer, the Melin family have owned Domaine la Soufrandise, located in the heart of Fuissé, since the 1850s. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lemon citrus with notes of honey and nutty oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with minerality. Nice! Will age a bit!

I loved this so much I'm looking for a good price on a case. If you also like Sancerre this may be for you--mineral, citrus, lemon most noticeable, and lots of acidity. ❤️

Tasted cold and this was unforgivingly austere. At 18 degrees it shows fresh verbena, lemon zest red apple and mirabelle plum. Very dry with lots of extract which should ensure some successful cellar time ahead of it.
