Bountiful cherry blend in the nose,

Classy fruit structure, Grenache / Syrah blend, the finish ruins the wine although. This taste like an oak plank and completely disjointed from the acidity.

This needs some aging to settle that out, if the fruit can hold up.
Ah well, there’s always tomorrow.

Similar to my usual, but I’d rather have my usual, I think.

Dry and tannic with hints of oak. I loved this one. Had with Buddy’s pizza and antipasto. Would buy again.

Opens up nicely — takes about ten minutes to get to a good spot. Blackberry, dark cherry, and some plum show beautifully. Fruit is supported by plenty of oak and tannin — get hints of black tea — and a very dry finish. Really enjoying this one — very accessible but certainly more old world than new.
