This is a nice ballsy red that benefits a lot from decanting. Plenty of fruit and tobacco, lovely nose.

Needs time to open, then rich slightly spicy and very yummy. Good with our supper of fennel sausages and rice with butternut soup and a cabbage salad.

Oct 26th, 2024Medium ruby in color; cherries, baking spices, and crushed gravel on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like strawberry jam, blackberries, fruit punch, and clay pots with a long fruity finish. Nellie likes it with food. I love it. Crisp acidity and lots of fruit without losing complexity.
