Savigny-lès-Beaune Pinot Noir

Stunning nose of mid season cherries and spices. Gorgeous. So perfumed. Loads of sous-bois. Crunchy and juicy wirh lovely limestone minerality. Slamming. So fresh. So insanely fresh. What a wonderful wine.

Super aromas, bowl of red cherries, spice, green moss, floral and leaping out of the glass. Juicy and so clean. Needs 20 minutes and then it will be gone in 20 minutes.

Complex and charming. Well done.

👃 Plenty of cherry. Needs about 1 hour to open up. Quite juicy and fresh. Some tannins left. Crushed marble. Likable yet lacks this extra wow effect I am looking for in older burghs.

Nice everyday Pinot. Ok but not special. Give it 30 min to breathe. Cherry 🍒 mostly hints of dark fruit on the back palate still a little harsh. It’s Savigny so perhaps this is expected. 14 was not a stellar year.

Very nice. Charmingly rustic.

Subdued cranberry nose with a hint of raspberry. Very pretty purplish red color. Chalky texture good wood management. In the glass cranberry with blackberry undertones. Needs time very well made
