This comes from a single plot that was part of Gevrey-Chambertin until 1964. Some of the vines on property date back to 1925. The structure is alive and well. Wine is in a really good spot.

Opened up with cool dark fruits, spice, and a reductice tinge. Second night showing more fleshy fruit, savory and meaty, dried flower petals and sweet herbs. Very pretty and well poised with nice concentration for the appellation. A lightweight version of Gevrey.

Juicy 2015... beautiful nose of maturing PN, palate is really juicy, less acid/structure than we’d prefer. Wife says it tastes like a fatty little goose—not entirely a bad thing.

Bright ruby color, wild berry aroma is spreading. Sour but sweet. Then, plum. One hour later, it makes me feel enough body. Cuvée de Presonnier which was part of Chambertin before 1994. Actually 2nd time, but I could enjoy a part of more than one hour after opening this time. Even in 4 hours, still no too much alcohol flavor.
