Beautifully balanced and showing so well for its age. Fruit aromas are ripe with black cherry, huckleberry, and a touch of blue fruit. Floral, rhubarb, white pepper, eucalyptus, sweet amaro spices. Pure and deep fruit across the palate followed by a savory note and minerals. Supple tannins framed with fresh acid and integrated oak. The oak seems to highlight the spice and savory elements without intruding.

Excellent and drinking well above its pay grade. Stunning and almost like grand cru with its tea like finish.

Having a nice Burgundy tonight and enjoying it while storms roll in from the west.

The nose has notes.of raspberry, cherry, ripe tomato, black olive, leather, smoke, earth and oak.

Over the palate there are wonderful notes of freshly picked cherries, cranberry, raspberry, clove, cola, earthy soil, and violets.

There is a smooth mouth feel with medium acidity and medium low tannins that leads to a nice finish.

A very nice wine for enjoying during stormy weather.

Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷
