Domaine Jean Tardy et Fils
La Place Fixin Pinot Noir
Funky cherry on the nose. Big cherry in the mouth. Still a bit sharp at this age but refreshing acidity. At $22 this is a great weekday Pinot.

Sep 17th, 2021Nice Fixin. Was a replacement for the Marsannay that I wanted and this was somewhat similar. Quite linear with some depth and power. Nice pairing for the steak frites at dear old Raoul’s.

Apr 26th, 2020Wonderful village wine. PNP. The nose is expansive and full. Tart red fruits, not terribly complex but plenty of flavor. Excellent length. I’m happy to have several more as well as the 2014. Another Envoyer sensation!
