After decanting not giving much. Nose of red cherries and red florals - light and sappy. In hindsight no need to decant - no sediment - pop and pour would’ve done. I expected more from the 2015 vintage. No complexity. Essentially a simple wine and not worth $69AUD. There are many Australian Pinots better than this with better QPR. In a word, disappointing.

Light to mid crimson in colour. Bright red cherries and strawberries Simple clean and fresh - not much more to add. Short term drinking.

Pale Crimson. Red berry fruits on nose of raspberry and strawberry. Enjoying these Bourgognes from the 2015 vintage. Light and refreshing with a touch of sap. M- Intensity with light tannins. Cellar short term.

Sigh. Just no "there" there. Like the engine doesn't turn over. Missing either fire, water, or fuel. (Haha, my dad the car guy would appreciate that).

I feel embarrassed by this wine. Having tasted a number of these in the last 18 months, I'm simply astonished by how beautifully it has fined down and turned out into a delicious example of its appellation, far better than I thought it could be. Delightful light to med red w a slight bright pinkish tinge; lively quite spicy red fruit nose, fresh; palate has xlnt attack, lovely piquant small red berry flavours w background notes of earth and brambleberry. Lovely clean fine tannins to close. Delicious.

I was thinking it was a crime to cook Julia Child's coq au vin with this, but once I sipped some I thought, nah. It's cooking wine. Not much there.
