Massively corked. Bummer, and the second corked wine of the night. Can we figure this out people.

Expected a bit more, although he wine is still young. Lacking mid-palate but shows a nice herbal element. Have always likes the wines from this producer.

High toned, perfumed red fruit nose. Everything from spiced smoked sausage to kirsch ~flowers. Intense on palate and echoing same. Old school traditionalist purity

2021 was a cooler finesse year in CdP and it shows with this wine. Savory nose: charcuterie, dried plums and fig. It doesn’t drink hot, plenty of snappy acidity, some spicy notes, wild cherry and grippy tannins on the finish. I’ll be seeking out more 2021 CdPs based on this one. #châteauneufdupape

Lighter flavor, savory notes, mineral finish, hints of vanilla. Gentle and complex, heavy tannin at the end that would benefit from mellowing with age.

Nice. Good depth, acidity and tannin; but not overly distinguished.
