Approachable. Better with barbecued meats. More restrained than Offerus. Always a good buy. Hold in the short term.

Beautiful woodsy nose with a meaty palate. Northern Rhone happiness.

Very complex but well-balanced and mellow. It does have a strong “barnyard” fragrance on the nose.

Dark notes of the syrah, with violets, burned sugar, bitter coffee roast, plums. Ample in the palate, filling all up with remarkable acidity and easy tannins. Length and freshness, good shit.

Rich ruby color and an oak-dominated nose that would peg this as a new world wine in most blind tastings. Here the crushed rock minerality and violet, leather and plum of Syrah are buried under juicy blackberry and black cherry compote. It has less old world subtly and more new world flash than expected. Maybe that will balances out in time but for now, it’s a bit one dimensional
