Dipping my toes into the Rhône. Blueberry, black pepper. Smooth tannins. Nice long finish.

Blackberry flavor and a decent slug of alcohol to start, then some char and chocolate comes through. Finished lightly tannic. Lovely but not fully lush.

Give this time and it's very likely this will surpass most noble northern rhone bottlings. Showed it's animal, flowery, and poopy sides today for quite the enjoyment but never really quite loosened up for the dance.
