Mon Coeur Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend

CDR from the master. Dark cherry, blackberry, boysenberry, plum, liquorice, granite, tea leaf and even a touch of Brett. Medium tannins that actually built given some air in the glass and medium acidity. Length could take or leave.

Worth every single dollar. And it doesn't cost a lot of them.

Plum and cherry, very smooth on the initial drink but gets pretty dry and smoky at the end, overall medium to full bodied

Dark Côtes in a good way.

2015 vintage - deep and dark syrah/grenache blend. Great on the nose with dark fruit (think currant & smoky blackberry) with a taste to match. Appearance is lovely and the finish has a fair earthy or minerality note that doesn't overstay it's welcome. Drank on its own (after a decent meal) while listening to a Nat King Cole record

Garnat color spicy fruit pepper medium body with some tannin still developing. Good start and going to taste even better as it ages. Ironically paired it with a vegetarian detox from too much street food wknd
