Young Bordeaux, fresh and fruity but still a drinkable & enjoyable wine. Aging would bring out the layers better but I won't begrudge this one - paired well enough with a seafood pasta — 6 years ago
Very, very good find from Trader Joe's. (At least according to my memory, the location of acquiring?) Would happily buy again for a meal with friendy — 6 years ago

Fantastic example of croze-hermitage. Enjoyed in local bouchon in Lyon — 6 years ago
Loved this Tannant, very unique red profile but pairs beautifully with lamb chops. Would buy again for further examination — 6 years ago
Absolutely beautiful example of a 100% Cab Franc. Decanted for an hour before drinking. Lightly sweet on the front (almost apple-y) with a pleasing acidity on the whole mouth-feel. The typical Cabernet tannins show up at the end, but it's a kinder and more humble version compared to the big red Cabernet Sauvignon cousins. Will likely explore more Cab Franc instead of Cab Sauv next time at the wine store. Paired excellently with slow cooked beef shanks and a chilled out folk music playlist off Spotify. — 6 years ago
Pretty damn solid CDP, lots of earthy spice mixed in with a soft fruit. Structure isn't overwhelming, very drinkable. Almost too earthy for myself, though my wife digs it a lot. Paired with some duck saucisson, which did very well together! — 6 years ago
Stunning example of light, mineral and salt in a spanish white. Includes mild lemon and a very gentle oak (found in Barcelona near Santa Maria church) — 6 years ago
Phenomenal pinot noir! Maybe the best US-made pinot I've ever had, and definitely the best from Oregon. Delicious fresh fruits balanced by that silky pinot mouth-feel. Can't recommend this one enough. — 6 years ago
