L'Hermitage Syrah

Syrah and charcoal grilled deliciousness.

Fig Newtons and olives on the nose with a hint of lemongrass, medium body with an acid that makes me feel it's past peak. Lots of dried flowers and fruit, plums and figs specifically. A very special wine to share with special people.

Silky smooth Hermitage drank at brunch. Red fruit and that great Syrah spice tickling your tongue on the finish.

Delicious. But a bit fatter and rounder then i expected. Lacked a little of the Syrah spice but excellent none the less. Smokey fatty meat just off the grill.

Incredible dose of diethylether upon opening. The jury is still out on what this will become. Went from aggressively anesthetic to flat and tasteless. In the end we sent it back. Most disappointing Chave ever.
