Big, rich and lush with honeyed pear, red apple and orange peel fruit with hints of truffle and hay. Quite intense on the palate with pear, blood orange, bitter almond and waxy flavors. Dense, rich mineral finish. This required the better part of 4 hours in the decanter to really open up.
