This is the Petite Verdot. Simple label. Nice color. Deep ruby, red. Smells musky and like crushed wet leaves from a forest shrub. Slight fruit streak. Flavors are nice. Fruit molasses and cherry stuff. There’s some sawdust or fresh cut wood. Bittersweet. This is nice, well made French red. Balanced and elegant. Good stuff.
