Fun! All kinds of red fruit, from cherry to currant to cranberry, plus some citrus and rose petal. I like these roses that are halfway (or more) toward being a light red

In honor of the Tour de France, we went to the Pyrenees to try this guy. Tonnat/Cab Franc blend. Very interesting. Pungent nose. Flavors swirled like red licorice, cranberry, boysenberry, with green pepper and eucalyptus.

This is the rosé, with four years of bottle age under its belt. The experiment paid off, as this is truly one of the most compelling and delicious rosé wines I have had in a while: all cranberries and sour cherries, with this copper pennies note running through it and exceptional freshness still. I wish I had more; gotta start cellaring this stuff short term.

I won't rate clients' wines. But I did dig this very much.
