Clos Village Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

Nice red cherry with good weight showing earth, mineral & spice

Cherry, cranberry fruit. Smooth tannins. Velvety mouthfeel. Long finish. Quite tasty. Only quibble is that it isn’t that complex.

Solid. Crunchy red fruits. Cranberry. Fairly tart. Tannins are mostly resolved. Ready to go. Not super complex, but tasty.

Needed a decant, but very tasty with air.

Beautiful perfume, balance of burgundy austerity and pinot fruit well made wine and was happy with the choice given the range of price points at this place ~€100.
