My favourite whites are from Burgundy, undoubtedly. I adore Chardonnay, and the oak-based ageing gives the wine the tobacco notes I love. Henri Boillot's basic 'Borgogne Blanc' is the nicest white I've had to date; his Saint-Aubin was not far off.

Crushedvstine and honeysuckle. Elegant and full with a branch finish . Solid solid solid .

Waxy orchard fruits, nice depth and a lightly lingering finish, drinking very well now. Plenty of upside. Took an hour to really flesh out
