From a bottle purchased on release. Medium gold color. Nice weight in the glass. Fruity nose with notes of apricot, white pepper, clove, stone and soil. Very rich and glycerol in the mouth. More fruity than structured. Lacking acidity. Honey in the finish. Very typical for the vintage in that this seems a bit more advanced at this age than you would like, but a nice drink none the less.

Well I wish I would have bought more. Exotic and enticing nose. After the wine opens up, there is great volume, weight and power. It's a real beauty.
