Viré-Clessé Chardonnay

Good but not going to get much better. Time to drink up

Had this last night at an engagement party in Colombia maryland! Fantastic but a bit pricey by the glass @ 17.50!! Found it for sale for around 25.00

Didn't quite meet expectations, but pleasant nonetheless

Honey, peach, white flowers. Bit sweet but nice vanilla and spice on the finish. Not in a smack you in the face with oak manner, but there on the tongue nonetheless.

Great burg, a bit on the sweet side but doesn’t drown out the complexity. Key lime, butter (but not Napa butter), and flint. Delightful!

Lovely Chardonnay! Not too acidic and not to oaky...especially given not barreled. Perfect blend!! Liquid gold in color and perfume on the nose! Will keep in stock!

Tasty and seamless

100% malolactic fermentation, aged on the lees, no oak. Biodynamic producer. Medium pale lemon, strong intensity bouquet of lime, pineapple, blossom, honey. Full bodied with rich, creamy texture. Nutmeg, clove, honey, orange zest, lime and tropical fruit on the palate. Long finish. Excellent. Beautiful young and has the structure to get better over the next few years.

Very pretty nose of pineapple, lime, white blossom, cream, and light oak spice. Palate has softened and developed some roasted nut nuances. Acid in balance. Delicious.
