Les Moulins Saumur Chenin Blanc

This wasn’t the wine’s fault, but I wanted it to be fuller and lustier than it was sold to me as. Great typicity, very pretty and mineraled.

Perhaps the most mineral driven wine I’ve ever had - intense, edgy, delicious...hint of citrus & peach but mostly rocks rocks rocks

Appleton steely lemon and lanolin

Lives up to the producer's fabulous reputation.

First time I've had Guiberteau. Acid driven Chenin that appeared a bit simple on its own but proved an adequate match with our grilled oysters.

Guiberteau never fails me. Screaming acid, lots of lemon and lemon rind bitterness that makes this so interesting to drink. Also a lot of that classic wooly Chenin character.

Funky but crisp, with a burst of lemon and minerality on the finish

Stone fruits(under ripened) and green fruits like gooseberries and elderflowers with a more mineral overtone and saline.
