Domaine Gueguen (Celine & Frederic)
Côtes Salines Chardonnay
Very light and refreshing. I normally like unoaked Chardonnay but this one is very good with a light citrus finish. And today is my Friday!

Jul 18th, 2022This is actually better than a lot chablis and petits chablis I tasted in recent years...
There is chalk, lemon, lemon peel on the nose. You can't mistake the varietal for any other here. The palate is extremely well balanced with lemon notes, a good width and some matter, a chalky mouthfeel that goes a long way and a citrusy, lemon peel finish that last for a very long while. That's a great effort! I think I like it better than the chablis village I tasted from that estate

2019. À nouveau bon à l'ouverture, mais a perdu sa saveur le lendemain. Pas super facile sur la digestion.

Jan 25th, 2021If I’m going to have Chardonnay, this is it. High minerality. Almonds smell. Light.

Sep 6th, 2020Paid $15 at the wine press, near Saint Marys T stop. We’ve tried this brand before and have enjoyed the burgundy. The Chardonnay is not that great. Would pass on this next time. Nothing remarkable about the taste of the flavor.
