Rasteau White Rhone Blend

Seems a bit oxidized. Good fruit but this strikes me as evolving quickly so I say drink up!

Perhaps a bit reduced, this bottle didn't have quite the life or vibrancy of my last. Still lots of richness and cdeoth though...

2012 vintage. This wine kept growing on me over two days and is finishing absolutely delicious. On open it shows lots of very concentrated flavors -- mandarin orange, licorice, and some toasty oak notes. On day 2 it's more integrated and resolved, showing great balance and richness. It's curious -- there's something "red" flavored on the palate as well (ripe black plum?) -- served blindfolded I might guess red wine. I'm loving the richness and distinctiveness, but perhaps it's not for everybody...

Reductive nose. Delicious wine. Sort of Burgundy-like. Had a 2008 last night at the Jambalaya Party at Dmn Vintur. It was terrific as well.
