A textural beauty - ripe fruit and tons of maquis herbs, with a heavy saline quality and mouthfeel hinting at oiliness. Enjoyed with lunch at Antoine Arena’s house (lucky us). Part of a full Giacometti lineup tasting.

Would definitely buy again. A little similar to a Chardonnay

Assertive varietal Vermentino character; quite mineral, good length

Golden apples, green pear, thyme, dried tarragon, saline, sea breeze, white flowers. Snapping rounded acidity, light-medium bodied, juicy-oily texture. Crisp briny-herbal finish. In general, less aromatic than mainland Italian Vermentino, texture shines, great saltiness, fun for pairings.
