Aux Combottes Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir

2010 and still very very young. Doesn’t mean not enjoyable. Opulent cranberry and tart bing cherry. Loads of forest floor. Very powerful aromas. More than I’m used to with Barthod. Palate is still tight and needs air. After a while it really starts to sing. Amazing wine. Want to taste in another decade.

2008- concentrated and beautiful ripe fruit.

Another nice 2012! Bathod Chambolle . More restrained then some of the other 1ers with red and blue fruits , violets a. spine of minerals and orange zest.

2011. Incredible structure. Tight, pepper like spicy tannins wrapped around exciting young red fruit. Gorgeous depth and length to this one.

Red fruits & rich with decent length. Bit '09y, but fun to drink.

2011. Looks young but deeply fruity and powerful. Serious Burg.

Almost a perfectly structured wine. Classic Chambolle tone.

Vibrant nose early on - cherry fruit was a highlight. Extremely balanced. More acid than tannins.
