Very nice chambolle but I wouldn’t at this point say that it’s great. Decanted for 3+ hours. Nearly an equal mix of strawberry and light cherry on the nose and palate. Has a real core of minerality that carries through the wine and persists. Nice finish, but for some reason every 3rd sip I get just a *hint* of sweet oak which is not welcome. Maybe a few more years would even that out. Excellent with roast chicken and mushrooms.

Light body, red flowers and bright cranberry. Sweet earth, and a velvety finish.

Feminine, but less overt. Feminine in a formal gown and Doc Martens kind of way.

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny is a Cote de Nuits Burgundy. Medium bodied, nuanced, shows some complexity, fruit but not fruit forward. Earth but not overly rustic. A beautifully balanced wine.

Really a lovely chambolle. Had this last 2 years ago, and now this is in a much better place. Quite seamless. Wonderful balance and tension between the red fruit, earth, and acid. Perfect with a Sunday roast chicken with mushrooms. Nice reminder of why burgundy is burgundy.

Beautiful bouquet. Strawberry and oak. Savory notes of mushroom and just a hint of truffle and rose petals. Even ripe fig. Lots of fresh strawberry and bramble on the palate. Great acidity balances out nicely on this 2013 vintage. Evolves nicely in the glass with savory pepper notes coming through. 13.5%

Nice on the those. Lacks interest and depth.

Little denser than expected. Opened too young. Lovely once aired out. Great cherry notes. Good minerality.
