Valmur Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

Beautiful poise. Light and refined. Soft lemon. Rock pools, minerality, a hint of corn and yellow flowers. Intense but light and dancing on the palate. Great balance and long. Powerful but still subtle.

Lovely and contained with lime and slate. Salinity and rock pool with great minerality. Delicious stuff- still young but delicious now.

Oyster shells, light lemon oil, slate, delicate flowers. Spectacular stuff. So balanced and subtle and intense yet light. Really fantastic.

Limpid and light and fresh. Lime, slate, salinity. Very precise flavor. Light but gently long and complex. Very good

Light gold, heavy in the glass. High pitched nose. Notes of green apples, sweet kiwi fruit, citrus, lime blossoms. Although the nose is expressive, this is closed and tight in the mouth (despite being open for 6 hours we're told). At first I had this rated as being a bit behind the 96 Clos and Blanchot next to it, but over the evening this powered up and in the end was equal to its siblings. Has many years of enjoyment in front of it.

Gorgeous. Poised. Secondary notes coming through. A lovely nose of lemon oil, white flowers, honey, slate, white pepper, corn. Just in a great place and long and delicious. Understated but powerful. Lovely

Taken to Canoe House at the Mauna Lani. Nice light gold color, heavy in the glass. Nose of sweet sea breeze, apricot, honey, white clay, citrus and tan spice. Rich and powerful. Great stuff, paired well with the Onaga local catch.

What a nose. Supple and soft. Settled lemon, stone, a hint of lanolin, freshness. A gorgeous rounded midpalate. Really complex with salinity then a long, detailed and spectacular finish. Wow
