Tasted blind. Light straw gold color. Young and vibrant in the glass. Notes of white stone, chalk, honey and clay. Early on it's thin and shows as very young. Was told this had 90 min of air and i guessed 2000 Rav MdT. But with more the wine improves dramatically over 3 hours... every attribute improved and expanded. Can't wait to try again this in 5 yrs when I'm sure it will be even better.

A pinnacle bottle, dense but weightless, perfectly laced up and down with elements of minerality, floral citrus and spiced wood intensity which is on another level. Drinking quite wonderfully.

Lemon infused stone, sweet florals, dry honey, crystalline, deliciously complex, weightless and pure. What a beautiful bottle

A study in elegance and finesse. The absolute satiny-silkiness translates on the nose. Transporting notes of Lemon Budino pudding, Bosc pear, anise, a whiff of smoke. It's actually so well-integrated, it's tough to tease apart—this wine glides, weightless and yet impossibly glycerolly and rich. The attack is deceptive, leading to underlying grip and power, wet stone and shell, coiled acidity, trace white pepper and staggering persistence. There is a reason why Raveneau enjoys the cult reputation it has.

Decanted 6 hours, gorgeous after opening up. Lemon curd, stone and beeswax. Just awesome!
