Outshone by the pedigree and heft of Clos, this more mineral Blanchot was singing regardless. Lemon, ginger, florals, bright with wood integrated wonderfully.

More round than some of its brethren, but still has that backdrop of salinity that makes Raveneau so special for me.

Oh boy. This is an amazing wine. Full of verve, life and richness. Needed 30 minutes decanted to just start to show itself.

First time having Raveneau. Surprisingly restrained on the nose, but this has excellent balance and depth on the palate. Seemingly “simple” at first, this reveals layers of flavor with perfectly balanced acid and a very very long finish.

Belle finale !
