Ruby red at the edges and dark purple brooding at the core. A lean, brooding wine with a beautiful, elegant nose. Poised, balanced, mineral and some soured dark plum with underbrush. Excellent.

Beautiful red fruit aromatics. A little disappointed not as “sauvage” as some other vintages. In the mouth a great combo of juicy red and and black cherry flavors with some fleeting earth notes.
Wonderful integration but still not showing complexity. Started to shut down after an hour. The structure is there for it to age.

Don't start throwing tomatoes at me i know it is a crime to open this bottle this young....it was actually a mistake i thought it was a Gevrey-Chambertin village until i had my first sip and i was confused so i looked at the bottle and was floored. Anyway it is what it is...long story short this rocks

Pale ruby hue with tawny rim. Red berry fruit on the nose and with earthy and somewhat gamey undertones. Big, flavorful red fruit and impressive tannic backbone dominate the palate with good acidity and a mineral quality to the long finish. Magnifique!

Enormous pleasure in this bottle. Killer lunch wine with Boudin Blanc.
