Lovely and poised. Quite cold-blooded . Very clear and medium bodied. The opposite of a US Pinot but genuinely delicious with food. Perfect with rockfish and tomato. Delicate and gorgeous on the nose. Brambles, sour cherry, black currant. Length but delicate

2011 vintage. At the Mark Hotel, New York. Medium ruby hue edging to pale. On the nose, very complex and alluring - red fruit profile, earthy and floral, beautiful bouquet - very Burgundian. Developing. On the palate, some real power combined with elegance. Medium plus acidity, medium body and medium fine grained tannins. Medium plus concentration and a fairly long finish. This is a really excellent effort by Fourrier. Drink now until 2026+.
