2012, nice entry level red Sancerre. Light, crisp, cherry fruited pinot noir. Not a lot of complexity, structure or funk

Jan 16th, 2020It was a bit dark in the restaurant but it seemed to have a ruby red color. Was cherries and a bit of minerality. My first Sancerre pinot noir so not much to compare it to.

Aug 13th, 2016Dry, light, fruit forward. Not good with red meat such as steak but pairs well with cheese and fruit.

Dec 12th, 20152009 Domaine Fouassier Sancerre Rouge "L'Etourneau" is a wonderful, lean Pinot Noir experience. Lightly rich, medium to light tannins the 2009 was mature and delicious with creamy goat cheese and bread.
