2011-y nose. Hard to detect a village under the green. Has some nice spice and more tannin than I'd have thought

Bright red fruit, soft tannins, beautiful intergraded wood so delicately done.

Black cherries, approachable. No wait, smashable.

Just a really sexy Volnay. Classic graphite nose along with supple cherry. I would buy this wine again, and again.

Gorgeous! Wow. First Gagnard Clos des Chenes I've had and although AM has it showing as 2018 start time I have to say it's stunning right now. Very precise tannins. Lots of length and the typical Volnay nose. Almost like drinking a cocktail of limestone and fresh bing cherries. Plenty of lively acidity as well. Buy it!

Concentrated snappy red fruits. Sappy. Reminds of dAngerville with crazy big tannin for Volnay.

Need to wait for 1.5 hours. Not only dried old leaves but also a bit smooth texture. Complexity. Most tanning has already been melted. 2011 @2450, Kping - , 220325-221014

Love the wines from volnay excellent example but still very young and tight good for another 10 years
