Excellent value for pure Northern Rhone character. This 2014 was ridiculously young - I had no business opening it really. So the first day was a bomb - crazy white pepper, but distinctly green and tight. Letting the partial bottle sit a day or two really brought it to life - dark berry fruit now mingles with earth, leather and a savory tang.

smelled of wood, rosemary, crushed juniper- all dumped into a potent meaty olive tapenade....the palate felt ethereal given its potent nose. A ghost of northern syrah (in a good way.)....burgundian syrah. very pretty.

Agree with Nate. A lovely daily drinker pepper a little meatiness and blackberry. Good acid and some grip. 2014

North Rhone "table wine". Yuss

Interstinf Syrah especially for the price. Recommend. Beautiful perfume.

Honey, earth and iron on the nose. Soft cherry, strawberry, licorice and muted spice. Extremely smooth, soft and light on the palate. A beautiful example of how light on its feet this grape can be - a Rhone valley ballerina.

Less high notes than previous vintages. Roasted, meaty, earthy Syrah.
